Halloween Activities on a Budget

kids trick or treating in halloween costumes

On a budget this Halloween? You can still have a spooktacular time. Here are some activities that won’t break the bank.

Carve Pumpkins

Go to your local supermarket to pick up some pumpkins and have a carving party. It’s a cheap and fun activity for the whole family to get involved in. Find some design inspiration online and get carving.

Halloween Baking

Get creative with your spooky snacks and sweet treats. Most supermarkets sell themed baking kits you can make or try your hand at chocolate or toffee-covered apples. They’re easy to make and don’t cost much in ingredients.

Scary Movie Marathon

Choose your favourite scary movies and have a Halloween-themed movie marathon. You could do it yourself or invite friends or family around to enjoy with snacks. And there are plenty of family-friendly Halloween films and more gory films you can watch depending on the audience.

Trick or Treating

There’s nothing better than trick or treating that you and your family can do. Check out the neighbours’ Halloween decorations, show off your costumes and get some treats along the way.
